After several years in the advertising world, and having had my share of
buzzwords, powerpoints and acronyms, I decided to work independently in order
to promote work and people that I really believe in. Working with clients
mainly from the creative industry (primarily design, arts &
architecture), I help them to budget, plan and run a project, as well as
liaise with the clients and the other teams that are part of the project. In my experience, small creative teams rarely have the luxury of a
dedicated project manager. My role consists of joining the team and ensuring
that the project is delivered within the time frame, budget and to the agreed
standards, thus enabling the creative team to do what they do best. I assist
both the team and the clients to complete the brief, agree what is to be
delivered and manage day-to-day tasks for the project.
My organisational and administrative skills ensure that the project runs
smoothly, and that any problems that may arise are identified, managed and
resolved. I gained my experience working in |

I believe that, in today’s world, a
less formal, more human approach is essential for real communication and I
apply this philosophy in my dealings with both the creative team and our
clients. Currently,
the teams I work with and the projects I am involved in include: Company: Project and studio manager
for a small, award-winning graphic design agency in Divercity Architects: Project
manager on large scale projects with Divercity, an architectural firm based
in G28:
Project manager for the exhibition “Giatrakou 28, Voices of Children: In
collaboration with Panteion University.
I am organizing the Greek leg of this traveling photographic exhibition that
draws on images and texts created by children from around the world. Estimated time spring 2010. |
